JIDA (Jewelry Industry Distributor Association) is a trade organization composed of two types of vendors to the industry: Associate (vendors) and Active (their customers) members related to watch material, jeweler’s tools, findings and other products marketed to the industry. JIDA has been in existence since 1946 and holds two meetings a year. There is a Fall Visitation and Board Meeting where a Vendor Member of JIDA hosts a visit to their facility. The Spring Convention is typically a longer conference focusing on networking and business building, culminating in a Merchandise Day where vendors display current specials and new products to customers.
