He has an extensive web site at masterclockrepair.com. \n  \n  \n

SUMMARY:Practical Gear Cutting for the Horologist Session One
DESCRIPTION:  \n \n  \nCome to AWCI in our well-equipped machine shop  and join David Lindow for this practical\, hands on class where gearing and gear cutting will be practiced.   Not only will the student learn the basic set ups involved cutting horological gears but multiple approaches to tooling will be explored as well as theory from a practical standpoint.   The student will learn about wheel and pinion engagements and gain a fuller understanding of horological gearing in general.    While the focus of the class will be on making gears and pinions the skills taught will transfer to general repair and improve the success rate of anyone that repairs clocks even if they never plan to cut gears in their shop.    \n
