Foundational Clock Repair Skills III is a foundational class that reinforces the skills learned in Foundational Clock Repair Skills I and II. In this course, students will be provided an Indian made 8 day, time and strike movement, like the American made movements of the 19th and 20th centuries. For this course the focus will be primarily on the time side of the movement. This course begins to shift the focus from learning discreet machining skills to the application of those skills in basic clock repair.
Tools Needed: No tools are necessary; however, students are invited to bring their own tools such as pivot burnishers, files, depthing tools, spring winders and clamps, let down tools, bushing tools, etc.
Class Size: Limited to 8 students.
