This course is a continuation to Watchmaker’s Lathe I and the purpose is to teach the student the necessary knowledge and hand-skills to manufacture various parts in steel that will be functional in a mechanical watch, e.g. the winding stem.
Foundational Clock Repair Skills is a foundational class that offers to those new to clocks a basic understanding of the most fundamental operations involved in clock repair, restoration, and conservation and to those more advanced a deeper understanding and exposure to different techniques.
A survey course for the new or prospective watchmaker covering the basic skills and techniques used by the modern watchmaker.
