American Watchmakers - Clockmakers Institute
Supporting and Advancing Horology through Education and Cooperation
The idea for the course came from Blanchard, the most recent awardee of the AWCI Fellow Award in 2023, who wanted to give back to the organization by leading a course on his area of expertise, the Accutron.
Students will troubleshoot and learn about conditions and adjustments unique to the Accutron 214 and 218 models, while also learning how to conduct proper cell changes in the 214, 218, 219, 221, 224, and 230 calibers of Accutron.
The course is limited to six students, with the prerequisites being that those students be CW21 certified or equivalent.
