WATCH 410: Modern Vintage Chronograph to be conducted by Jason Ziegenbein at AWCI on August 17 to 21. Prerequisites: CW21, SAWTA, WOSTEP, recognized certification or instructor approval
Goal To give the participants both a theoretical understanding and practical experience at the bench of how vintage chronographs are serviced and adjusted via a new movement. Heavy emphasis on trouble shooting, repair techniques, and adjusting of the chronograph mechanism. Comparison with various vintage and modern chronograph movements.
Movements: Each student will choose a complete watch containing an ST19 for service during the course. This watch is theirs to keep.
Members are welcome to bring their own vintage chronograph movements or watches for discussion and evaluation during the class.
